Insert the SIM card

You can find the visual instructions for inserting the SIM card inside your phone’s back cover. To prevent damage to the SIM card, always remove the battery before you insert or remove the card. To insert the SIM card, you must do the following:

1. Open the phone back cover and remove the battery.
2. Open the SIM card slot door on the side of the phone. The SIM card slot is the top-most one.
3. Insert a SIM card in the slot. Ensure that the contact area on the card is facing up and towards the slot. You can find a visual clue under the battery.
4. Push the card in.
5. Close the SIM card slot door. Ensure that the door is properly closed.
6. Add the battery and close the back cover.

If the SIM card is not properly in place, the device can only be used in the offline profile. Use your stylus pen to help you to remove the SIM card.
